Below is an alphabetical list of the films eligible for an Ivor Novello Award in the Best Original Film Score category.

The list contains films released up to and including 31 December 2009.

The criteria for eligibility are that the film has a UK theatrical release in the calendar year 2009 and that the original content of the score demonstrates a British or Irish interest of at least one third. Foreign nationals may qualify by residency.

Every effort has been made to confirm the accuracy of the information, but if your score doesn’t appear on the list and you think it may be eligible, please contact Kate MacCormick at BASCA on 020 7636 2929.

If you wish to enter a score for consideration by The Ivors jury, please contact BASCA to request a nomination form which outlines our rules and regulations.

The closing date for entries is Friday 5 February 2010.

There is an administrative fee for entry and films must be submitted on DVD.  To assist the judges, entrants are asked to consider preparing a compilation of cues instead of submitting the film itself.

If put forward to the final shortlist, BASCA will require a further eight copies of the complete film.
