Attack on attempts to modernise copyright law

Today (Monday 19^th March), the Telegraph have published an online article detailing the UK creative industries’ attack on the “bizarre, overstated and unrealistic” growth projections attached to a Government intellectual property (IP) consultation that closes on Wednesday.

BASCA is making a three-pronged attack on behalf of UK music writers of all genres, and will be responding to this IP consultation through UK Music, the British Copyright Council and in its own right.
