BPI / MPA US Sync Licensing Trade Mission 2012, in association with UK Trade & Investment
N.B. This opportunity is open to UK music companies only, not to individuals.
The 2012 BPI / MPA US Sync Licensing Mission to Los Angeles in association with UK Trade & Investment will run from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th April.
The mission provides a unique opportunity for UK music companies to learn about the US Sync Licensing market and connect with many of the key players and decision makers working in the TV, film, advertising and computer games markets in the media capital of the US… the world’s largest entertainment market.

Application forms for the 2012 mission are available now by emailing debi.blackgrove@bpi.co.uk or SHantsch@mpaonline.org.uk. Space is limited so we recommend you email and apply straight away.
UKTI will be charging a £500 (including VAT) Overseas Market Introductory Service (OMIS) fee per company for the mission, though delegates may then be eligible for business support. There will be a strict deadline for applications of Friday 24 February and after this date we will be able to confirm your place on the mission, so please don’t book any flights, etc until you hear whether your application is successful.
Delegates will be expected to fund their own travel and accommodation costs – it is hoped that it will be possible to offer a group rate at a conveniently located hotel at approx $149 + tax per night.
For information about possible supplementary government funding please email Phil Patterson.
