ECSA invited to participate in EPP Hearing

ECSA (the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance) has been invited to participate at the EPP Hearing on Collective Rights Management in the Digital Era, which takes place on 1 October in the European Parliament.  ECSA Chairman Alfons Karabuda will be joining the panel “Collecting Societies for the Benefit of Artists: governance and transparency”.

ECSA lobbied for having a representative at the hearing, but have instead been invited to participate. We are encouraged to see that the European Parliament’s main political group considers ECSA as a key stakeholder to consult on this issue.
