Diaspora Outreach Programme

Diaspora is the music foundation proud to support the wealth of musical talent found throughout the UK’s diverse communities.

As part of our commitment to encourage professional music associations and trade bodies to create stronger relationships with Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) music creators and represent a broader range of musical genres we are hosting an outreach programme with BASCA.

This programme consists of two segments taking place in June and September respectively;

1. June; Using the power of the focus group we will explore the challenges facing today’s songwriter, lyricists and composers within this sector of the music industry and examine how this music association is perceived by them.

2. September; A panel presentation hosted by BASCA personnel to illustrate its objectives and outline how this professional music association can be pivotal to their progression as music creators
