BASCA at Creators Conference
6 February 2012
Following the successful launch of the first Creators’ Conference in Stockholm in 2010 initiated by the Swedish Society of Popular Music Composers (Skap), the European Composer and Songwriter Alliance (ECSA) hosted the second Creators Conference in Brussels last week.
The conference addressed the ongoing search for a fair balance between the needs of the creator and those of the user, and featured lively debate on how to foster inspiration and preserve creativity in a rapidly changing world.
BASCA was well represented at the Conference: Chairman Sarah Rodgers, board members Chris Smith and Simon Darlow, and CEO Patrick Rackow all appeared on Panels, together with member Helienne Lindvall.
