2012 Executive Election Voting is Now Open

24 April 2012

The 2012 Executive Elections are now open to voting. This year, all twelve seats on each of BASCA’s three Executive committees - Classical & Jazz, Media, and Songwriters – are available, so it is vital that every member takes this opportunity to have their say in who represents their interests within the BASCA framework.

Voting is now open.   Members can find out more about each of the candidates standing for their genre’s Executive and then cast up to 12 candidate votes by clicking on the appropriate link on the left hand side of this screen

When prompted, you will need to enter your first name, last name and membership number*.  This will enable us to identify you as a unique voter and will ensure that you are voting for the correct Executive committee.  You can then put your ‘X’ in the box of up to twelve candidates you would like to support.

*NB: you should enter your membership number without 'BA' or any '0s' at the beginning.  So for example, if your membership card shows a membership number of BA034215, you should enter 34215 on the online voting form.

You can only login to cast votes once, so make sure you vote for all of the candidates you wish to support when you visit the site – you can’t vote for three candidates one day, then go back to vote for some more another day!

All members have seven weeks to cast their votes, with voting closing on Monday 11th June.   The new Executive committees will be announced at BASCA's AGM on Friday 15th June.

If you have any queries regarding any part of the election process, or have any difficulties with the voting system, please contact Head Office or email info@basca.org.uk .

Voting is being conducted through votingplace.net.
