BASCA

Music is a form of speech that is infinitely richer than my mother tongue, and a song is it's anecdotes. James Blunt, Ivors' winner, BASCA member

This section is for our BASCA members online collaboration service. Most collaborations happen organically. There are collaborations with friends or those with whom you feel you share musical ideas, influences and attitudes.   However sometimes you may be looking for someone outside your immediate network and wish to locate someone new to work with in a particular genre.  BASCA can act as your extended musical network.

Through your directory profile you can add a number of collaboration tags...ie common terminology and phrases that highlight your musical interests. As tags are added by other BASCA members they are auto suggested when you go to use them so a common vocabulary is formed. The tags appear on the right hand side of your member directory page in a cloud and as more are added the more popular ones become larger. By clicking on the tag you can view the profiles associated with the tag and so then use the contact details on screen to contact that other member.
