Student Member
BASCA aims to foster a sense of community amongst British songwriters, lyricists and composers and to encourage the next generation of professional music writers.
Student membership is open to any music writer who is over 18 years of age and currently in full time education, regardless of the course you are studying. Student membership is capped at three years, after which time you will be offered the chance to upgrade to become a Standard Member of BASCA (Please note: to become a Standard Member of BASCA you will need to be at least a Provisional member of PRS for Music, or have equivalent status with an alternative overseas collection society).
BASCA provides a range of services to its Student members. These include political campaigning, regular communications, discounts and opportunities, professional resources, members’ website and lots more.
