Professional Member

For more than a decade BASCA has been fighting for the rights of composers, songwriters and lyricists. So that we may continue to do this, it is important that we can count the best songwriting and composing talent amongst our members.

To be eligible for Professional Membership of BASCA, you must be a Full or Associate member of PRS for Music or have equivalent status within an overseas collection society. Professional members of BASCA enjoy a host of additional benefits in return for their membership fee.  These include Academy Recordings, Professional Members’ Socials, Dining Clubs, 10 votes in the BASCA elections and Making nominations for the Gold Badge Awards.

In addition to the above, you will of course also receive all of the benefits of standard BASCA membership, including the political campaigning, regular communications and events, discounts and opportunities, professional resources, members’ website, legal service, tax helpline and lots more.

Our Professional Member rate is £165.00 including VAT (£150 net as VAT is applicable to only 50% of the cost) per year.
