ECSA (the European Composer & Songwriter Alliance)
http://www.composeralliance.org/

ECSA (the European Composer & Songwriter Alliance) is a lobbying organisation speaking with one voice in the name of all European composers and songwriters. It is a platform for communication and debate between European composer federations in order to formulate shared policies and to lobby for their implementation.
Member countries are; Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
Many political, regulatory and cultural policies begin at an EC (European Commission) level, rather than National level and ECSA has therefore brought together the three existing Pan-European music writer federations in an alliance which represents composers and songwriters of all musical genres.
ECSA is the umbrella organisation under which three genre-specific European composer organistions operate; APCOE (Alliance of Popular Composer Organisations in Europe), ECF (European Composers Forum) and FFACE (Federation of Film and Audio-visual Composers of Europe). These three pillars deal with political issues and ideas to feed to ECSA, who in turn attempt to take those issues to the European Commission or other bodies as appropriate. The three pillars also deal with cultural, educational and social issues affecting composers and songwriters in the industry.
The ECSA Board (a presidium of the three Chairmen of the three pillars):
Alfons Karabuda Chairman of APCOE (Alliance of Popular Composer Organisations of Europe)
Klaus Ager Chairman of ECF (European Composers Forum)
Bernard Grimaldi Chairman of FFACE (Federation of Film and Audiovisual Composers in Europe)
David Ferguson (Spokesman)
APCOE (Alliance of Popular Composers of Europe)
