I am currently working on The BBC Entertainment channels idents and reworking "Going For Gold"! I have also just finished Producing and co writing the new Toyah album "In The Court Of The Crimson Queen" I'm lucky to be able to count many composers and writers as friends and am very aware of the many issues that currently threaten our livelihoods. BASCA provides a unique home for writers to address these issues. It is important to stem the gradual reduction of our worth and the erosion of the value of our copyright. Having been elected to the Media Executive in 2008, I am looking forward to the opportunity to contribute my knowledge and experience to BASCA to help communicate these issues and encourage more writers to become members so their voices are heard. Simon is also a PRS director and Director of the MCPS-PRS Allianace Board.
