UK Music is a new umbrella organisation representing the collective interests of the UK's commercial music industry, from artists, musicians, songwriters and composers, to major and independent record labels, managers, music publishers, studio producers and collecting societies.
ECSA (the European Composer & Songwriter Alliance) is a lobbying organisation speaking with one voice in the name of all European composers and songwriters. It is a platform for communication and debate between European composer federations in order to formulate shared policies and to lobby for their implementation.
ECF (the European Composers Forum) represents, at a European level, the interests of national composer organisations whose members work in the classical/art music area.

APCOE (the Alliance of Popular Composer Organisations of Europe) represents, at a European level, the interests of national composer organisations whose members are composers of popular music.
FFACE (the Federation of Film and Audio-Visual Composers in Europe) represents, at a European level, the interests of national composer organisations whose members work in the film and audio-visual areas of music.
ABO (the Association of British Orchestras) represents the interests of the UK’s orchestras and ensembles.
BCC (the British Copyright Council) represents those who create or hold rights in, literary, dramatic, musical and artistic works, and those who perform such works.
NMC (the National Music Council) seeks to celebrate and promote the value and enjoyment of music which contributes to the cultural, spiritual, educational, social and economic well-being of the UK.

MEC (the Music Education Council) represents all organisations connected with music education in the UK.
AIM (the Association of Independent Music) is a non-profit-making trade organisation for independent record companies and distributors in the UK.

The Musicians Union represents over thirty two thousand musicians working in all sectors of the music business. They negotiate on behalf of musicians with major industry employers as well as offering services for the self-employed musician.
PCAM (the society for Producers and Composers of Applied Music) was formed in 1982 as an industry forum for practitioners of advertising music. They now have over a hundred members and represent several hundred writers.
PRS for Music (the Performing Rights Society) is the United Kingdom association of composers, songwriters and music publishers, collecting broadcast and performance royalties on their behalf.
BASCA is a supporter of NMC Recordings. Working with both established and emerging composers, NMC Recordings is a charity dedicated to recording, promoting and preserving contemporary British classical music.
